Seattle/Puget Sound area HSPs

Greetings all,

I'm posting this here to "test the waters" a bit.

I am seriously interested in getting an HSP meetup group going in the Puget Sound area-- there are currently about 20-odd people on the "interested" lists for Seattle and Bellevue, which should be enough to start something.

I am willing to be "host," but NOT without a co-host of sorts to help with putting on potential meetups. Part of my "problem" is that I live in Port Townsend, so Seattle isn't exactly in my back yard. Specifically, I'd need help with choosing a venue, helping people with directions, potential carpooling, and the like.

I previously hosted the HSP meetup in Austin, TX when I lived there and although it was a small group we had a nice time; I moved to this area in 2006, and would really like to see a group get started here.

If there's sufficient interest, there are other places I might be able to "draw" more HSPs from, including the attendees of the national HSP Gathering and retreat that took place on Whidbey Island in August 2005.

I'm hoping some people will read this and respond; both with your interest, as well as with any ideas.
